It fosters connections between TU Dortmund and its economic, political, and cultural environment, and has served as a key pillar of the university for many decades.
The Centre for Nanosciences and Nanotechnology (C2N) is a joint research unit between the CNRS and Université Paris-Saclay. It was founded on the 1st June 2016 by merging two former laboratories, the Laboratoire de Photonique et de Nanostructures (LPN) and the Institut d’Electronique Fondamentale (IEF). In 2018, the laboratory moved to a new building at the heart of Campus Paris-Saclay, in the south of Paris.
Supported by Le Mans University and the CNRS, the Institut d’Acoustique – Graduate School was launched in 2018, inspired by the Anglo-Saxon graduate school model. It brings together a research laboratory, master’s and engineering programs, and doctoral training in acoustics, aiming to establish itself as an international reference in the field.
